Terms of Service

Last updated: pending. This page exists so the link in the site footer resolves to a real document while we finalize the substantive terms.

What this site is today

As of today, this site is a waitlist signup for SteadPlanner — a forthcoming homeowner-side renovation analysis tool. By joining the waitlist you're telling us you'd like to hear when the product is ready. That's the whole transaction.

What SteadPlanner is not

SteadPlanner provides information about contracts and quotes. It is not legal advice and does not replace an attorney. It is not financial advice and does not replace a licensed mortgage advisor. Specific decisions about whether to sign a contract, accept a change order, or take on financing are your own — we provide context, not professional judgment.

What the final terms will cover

The substantive Terms of Service will cover, in plain English: who can use the service, acceptable use, intellectual property, disclaimers of warranties, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, governing law, and how the terms can change.
